After selling out tickets to last year’s event, we moved Fleet Day to Mystery Creek Events Centre – one of the biggest venues of its kind in New Zealand (and we still sold out tickets!). Thanks to the additional space, we packed in more people, more vehicles, and more exhibitors, while still retaining our unique formula that makes Fleet Day so successful! This morning, a 250KVA KeyPower Generator was delivered to Mystery Creek, supplied by the Waikato Civil Defence Emergency Management Group as part of an ongoing collaboration between us and Mystery Creek Events Centre. Mystery Creek Events Centre is our alternate Group Emergency Coordination Centre. Our organisations work together to increase our region’s capability to respond to emergencies through exercising, planning, and sharing facilities and equipment. This generator will help to keep things running if we’re using Mystery Creek Events Centre in an emergency. It can also be easily deployed to other parts of the region to power Emergency Operations Centres in our districts if needed. Thanks to Mystery Creek for their continued support! 🤝
