Established in 1988 Poutama is an independent charitable trust that provides business development services to Māori. Poutama strives to create an environment for successful business ventures and economic growth for Māori. Income generated from our investments enables Poutama to engage in activities and provide services that support and facilitate Māori business development. We deliver on our word and are committed to the goal of economic revitalisation and growth of Māori enterprise. No where is this more symbolic than in the Poutama logo: the stepped pattern of tukutuku panels and woven mats signifies not only genealogy but also the various levels of learning and achievement.     @Industry Med Paora & Dr Sarah Gardiner – Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāti Hine, Ngāpuhi Industry Med is a specialised provider of occupational health, injury management, and medical support services to large manufacturing, heavy industry, and infrastructure sectors. They operate three fully equipped on-site occupational health clinics located at OJI Kinleith Mill in Tokoroa, Tasman Mill in Kawerau, and a telehealth hub in Tauranga’s Tauriko Industrial Area. These clinics serve as a foundation for their telehealth services, extending support to remote workplaces. Dr Sarah and husband Paora founded the business 3 years ago and have been operating since 2021.     WAI Manuka is ready to test the market in Tokyo after receiving positive feedback while featuring at the international food and beverage festival J-FEX. Chief executive of Wai Manuka, Joe Harawira, was selected as one of six New Zealand brands to travel to Tokyo and demonstrate Mãori entrepreneurial businesses in Aotearoa. The experience included market orientation, to learn how each business could be positioned in different channels, and meeting the New Zealand Prime Minister’s Trade Delegation to explore the opportunities and challenges for brands such as Wai Manuka. https://lnkd.in/gwntABTd
