There’s still time to have your say in Supergood’s post-election survey! Share your insights and perspectives to help chart what the change of government will mean for charities and non-profits (and the people they support). Everyone who takes part will receive a copy of the collective insights, so you can see where your views align (and don't!) with organisations across Aotearoa.

The new Government has moved into the Beehive - and is bringing with it a raft of new policies. To inform decisionmakers about the impact these policies will have on charities and non-profit organisations (and the people they support), we’ve launched a survey to capture how organisations are feeling post-election. The survey will draw together collective insights from practitioners across the charity and non-profit sector, highlighting key issues and what’s top of mind for organisations around Aotearoa. If you can spare a few minutes, we’d really appreciate it if you could contribute to this survey and share your views. Everyone who takes part will receive a free copy of the insights report, so you can see where your views align (and don't!) with the rest of the sector.

Sometimes it can be hard to do good. How many times have you said 'I'd love to give to that cause' or 'I want to help, but I don't know what will have an impact', and then the moment passes and life goes on? Even with the best of intentions, mental and practical roadblocks can get in the way, stopping us from being our best selves. That's where One Percent Collective comes in. They make regular giving easy. The concept is simple: you commit to give 1% of your income to good causes. And then they do the rest. From processing your monthly donation, to identifying great, impactful organisations to distribute funds to, to letting you know the difference your donations are making - One Percent Collective makes the whole thing as simple as can be. We love what they're doing, and are proud to be supporting them to grow our collective impact. So if giving a small regular contribution to charity is something you've thought about doing in the past, but haven't ever got round to, head over to https://lnkd.in/gkJYtRX and sign up today!

We’re super excited that supergood has joined One Percent Collective as a Superhero Sponsor to help us improve our campaign game. Supergood is the campaigns agency for non-profits. Based in Wellington, the agency was founded by four experienced campaigners who met working in Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s communications team. They’re all about helping good causes make the world a better place, so whether you want to change the law, change behaviour, or encourage people to donate their spare change, Supergood can help you win.

When we started Supergood back in March, our vision was to create a full service campaigns agency which truly understood non-profits and the way they work. We saw a space to use our skills and experience to run winning advocacy, behaviour change and mobilisation campaigns - and had confidence that we had something valuable to add. What we didn’t know though, was whether people would actually want to buy what we were selling! Nine months on, it’s been so exciting (and reassuring!) to know that not only are people willing - they’re keen! In the past 270 or so days, we’ve been lucky enough to already have worked with a huge range of organisations across the New Zealand nonprofit sector, supporting and running campaigns from highly targeted, direct behaviour change interventions, to high budget, high profile advocacy campaigns. And now, we have clients based in the UK, Australia and US coming on board. We never dreamt things would grow so fast. We’ve barely had time to catch our breath - let alone build a website or do normal new agency things like… host a launch party! Which is why last night, it was so special for us to invite our Supergood friends - what others would call clients - to join us to share drinks, kai and kōrero outside of the cut and thrust of our individual campaign mahi. We’re an impact driven organisation. We’ve set up Supergood to make a difference, and help those doing good do even better. But it’s the people we get to meet, share ideas with, and deliver campaigns alongside that are the best part of the job. It’s been said before, but we’ll say it again: he tangata, he tangata, he tangata. So to those who have been part of the foundation story of Supergood: thank you. Thanks for taking the gamble of trying out a new team, and for your confidence in trusting us to support you in your campaigns. And thank you for coming to celebrate together! It’s been an amazing journey so far, and we can’t wait for what comes next! We’ve got some exciting things in the pipeline, all focused on our mission to increase campaign capacity and capability within the non-profit sector. More on that soon. But in the meantime, if you weren’t able to make it last night and would like to have a beer or wine before Christmas, let us know - we owe you one and are keen to say thanks in person! (We foolishly didn't ask anyone's permission to use photos of them last night, so instead, here's a terrible one of the four founding directors seemingly standing in an empty room.)
