Suntory Global Spirits has released their latest Sustainability Report, highlighting progress against their Proof Positive sustainability strategy and ambitions. Highlights include reducing water usage and carbon emissions, including using 48% less water across operations since 2015, nearing the target of 50% by 2030. More packaging was designed for recycling, hundreds of thousands of trees were planted, and regenerative agricultural practices are now implemented on more than 17% of the land used to produce the crops and ingredients that make our spirits products.  Together we look forward to driving our sustainability commitments as Suntory Oceania when our multi-beverage partnership launches from mid-2025.

Our commitment to Growing for Good in Oceania has been recognised by Ampol at their annual gala dinner and awards night, with Suntory Oceania taking out two top awards – ‘Beverage Supplier of the Year’ for the third year running and ‘Sustainability Supplier of the Year’!   #CustomerCentricity #Sustainability #OneSuntory

At Suntory Oceania, we are proud to honour the rich cultural heritage of our communities and to foster a workplace where diversity is celebrated, and everyone feels valued. This includes honouring Matariki in New Zealand and NAIDOC Week in Australia, with both providing an opportunity to reflect and engage with our Indigenous cultures, fostering greater cultural awareness and inclusion.   In New Zealand, teams reflected on the significance of Matariki, a star cluster that marks the Māori lunar new year, and gathered to connect and share personal stories to enrich our understanding of this special time.   Meanwhile our Sydney based Suntory Global Spirits team were joined by Jason Timor on Cammeraygal land for a thought-provoking discussion about reconciliation and how we can contribute to this movement as an organisation and as individuals.   #Matariki #NAIDOC2024 #CulturalDiversity #Inclusion
