The Dust Palace is the top supplier of circus entertainment in New Zealand. We provide highest level circus skill in a full range of shows and packages to suit any sized event. From group acrobatics, hand balance and contortion to aerial performance on any apparatus our shows have the top quality production values and performers. We pride ourselves on leading, advancing and extending the industry. We will always have the latest thing to offer and some of our designs are unique world-wide. Our bespoke work is by far the most sought after. Specifically tailored aerial and acrobatic shows of 5 – 120 mins that suit the space and incorporate the clients core values, theme and aesthetic, desires and imaginings! For wow-factor look no further... that's what we do. Established by Eve Gordon and Mike Edward in 2009, The Dust Palace is now the leading circus theatre company in Aotearoa and represented 56% of the Tāmaki Makaurau circus community in the 2019 circus sector census. The Dust Palace exists to elevate contemporary circus culture, grabbing audiences by the guts, shifting hearts, minds and lifting spirits. We build multi-generational creative capacity in the circus performers of Aotearoa, holding the next generation of talent, encouraging practice and empowering a bold future for the art form. Our most recent collaborations have been; DAWN and MIDNIGHT with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, TOP OF THE HEAP with Auckland Arts Festival; international tours of THE WONDERWOMBS and THE GOBLIN MARKET with The Cultch in Vancouver and large-scale stadium collaborations in Palmerston North, ITHACA and LE CIRQUE VOLÉ, and Invercargill, HUMAN. The Dust Palace also has a training facility and school where their independently developed grading system helps children and adults achieve their fitness goals and cirque dreams!

We’re seeking a new Chair of the Board, and Kaitiaki / Trustees! The Dust Palace Charitable Trust Board is seeking passionate and skilled individuals to expand our Board of Trustees in 2024 as we look to and ensure organisational continuity and secure the future of circus development in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Chairperson to lead the governance of The Dust Palace Charitable Trust, strengthening our governance processes; supporting the core management team to deliver to our strategic aims; and willing to commit to the future of the Trust. We’re also seeking up to three new Kaitiaki / Trustees, over the coming months to broaden our governance skillset and ensure the organisational continuity of The Dust Palace. Whatever your background, first and foremost we’re keen to hear from anyone who’s genuinely passionate about the arts, is committed to living the values of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and to ensuring the artform of circus will flourish for generations to come.
