I am currently the kaitiaki of the Chief Executive role at OutLine Aotearoa!
I am an activist by birth and by choice. A writer and a commentator. My work can be found across a range of media outlets including TVNZ, Newshub Nation, Q&A with Jack Tame, E Tangata, NZ Herald and RNZ.
I am also the creator and co-director of ‘Tabu Tok’ an online platform for Pacific peoples by Pacific peoples. Where Talanoa / Tok Stori is held to unpack some of our more Tabu topics in Pacific communities.
I have been a Professional Teaching Fellow at the University of Auckland teaching in Pacific Studies and also in Design. I have taught in Low Decile Primary Schools across Tāmaki. I have worked in Comms/Advocacy/Policy for kaupapa Māori orgs Hāpai Te Hauora and E Tipu E Rea Whānau Services. I am passionate about working for and with Māori and Pacific communities ensuring equitable access in all aspects of life for us!
