He uri tēnei nō Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Wai, Te Rarawa, Ingarangi me Te Waiariki, Ngāti Korora. Born and raised in Whangārei(Te Tai Tokerau) I am never far from home, currently based in both the Mather Solutions Tāmaki Makaurau office and Te Tai Tokerau.

Presently a Consultant at Mather Solutions specialising in strategic organisational transformation, governance advisory, Community, Iwi and Hapū engagement, Te Tiriti-led project and policy Initiatives and enhancing māori cultural capability across all organisation levels.

Concurrently, I also serve as a Trustee on the History of Aotearoa(HĀ) Charitable Trust Board and I am passionate about creating safe learning environments for our communities to embrace our shared history and imagine our shared future, as well as empowering students to be active change-makers in our communities.

Unapologetically proud to be Māori & proud to share our culture with the world. Fluent in te reo māori and a second language learner, I remain committed to te reo māori revitalisation, our taiao, rangatahi-led change and supporting our communities to safely navigate and envision a future guided by our history and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

    A holistic well-being programme catered towards individualized well-being plans, based on the Whare Tapa Wha concept of well-being and was heavily focused on realistic support students needed.

Honors & Awards

  • Prime Ministers Scholarship for Asia - Awardee

    New Zealand Goverment

    Awarded the 2022 Prime Minister’s scholarship to Asia. The award was issued by the NZ Government, administered by Education NZ & in partnership with Tupu Toa & Pagoda Projects.

    Through Tupu Toa’s partnership with Education NZ, six of us worked in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from Nov 2022 - Feb 2023.

    Tēnei te mihi ki a Pagoda Projects, Tupu Toa, Education NZ & both the Vietnamese and NZ Governments for the opportunity.

  • Internships, communities and Culture Programme Recipient

    New Zealand Goverment

    I was accepted as a recipient for the "Internships, Communities and Culture Program" in South East Asia.
    It was a 12-week internship based in South East Asia, unfortunately, due to the global impact of COVID-19 it was cancelled. It was issued in January 2020 & we we’re due to fly out in early March 2020.
