I was disappointed that, when I wanted to extend my car for one day, they couldn't do it. I understand that's out of their control, but they could have made a suggestion to take an alternative car. So I had to cancel, wait for a refund and start again. Otherwise, the bookings were easy and cheap, even with full insurance. I was able to reach someone on the phone after a short wait.

I have used Doyou Italy for all my car rentals and the experience is hassle free. I have been happy with all the car rental companies at Pisa Airport and enjoyed the experience of driving through the Tuscan countryside.

Extremely poor experience, I tried to modify my booking 3 days before we travelled and I thought it had gone through. On the day of travel I got a message to say it was too late to modify my booking. I contacted the team and was told the only option I had was to cancel and rebook. I cancelled and rebooked with another company. I have since contacted DYI to make a formal complaint and request a refund , I have not even had the courtesy of a response. If I could give no stars I would.

Always find DoYouItaly, DoYouSpain highly competitive and inclusive of good little tips to help you choose the right option for you. I've never had an issue at the Rental pick up having booked through this site.

Very straightforward online booking process. Do you Italy seem like a good agent / search engine. But my advice to others is check reviews of the hire company itself before booking as not all hire companies are the same.

We were looking to rent a car in Italy and online we found that Do you Italy gives the best price. So I started reviewing comment and I was surprised to find quite a few negative. Therefore, I wanted to share my experience as we decided to risk after all and rent through them. I have to say that experience was smooth as ever, we got all what we needed and instructions were very clear. I think people who complaint weren’t reading the instructions about documents you need to provide etc., as we had all needed - it was simple and easy.

We booked a car at verona airport thought this company when we produced our voucher was told that as it no longer valid as we arrived late to collect the car .thewy told us you onlu have 2 hours from agreed time to pick the car up after that the vocher is not valid and returned to do you italy.
We get cut off on the phone when contacting them and no reply to emails.
there is nothing in there terns sytaing you only have 2 hours to pick the car up even thought we paid in full for the car in advance.
Never use them again they taking money under false pretencences.

System is user friendly. Prices are fair. But the customer service is very poor: it’s basically impossible to speak with an operator and only a Spanish number is provided.

Horrible experience. Booked a car in Sardinia, arrived at the office at Cagliari airport, and encountered a young guy with poor English, who had to call his colleague in order to perform basically every task in the booking system. They refused to accept a debit card and wanted me to pay extra insurance, and they charged me ten times more that they said. Then it took an hour until they returned the money to my card. We didn't agree and I was without a vehicle. I asked DoYouItaly to return the money that I paid for the reservation. I urged it two times and they said they were still examining it. Then they stopped replying completely. I strongly don't recommend this company.

They offer cars they don't have. You book a car, provide credit card details for downpayment, which is promptly charged, then you receive an email stating they don't have this car available. But they will happily offer you something else... which they don't have either.
