Kim Kardashian, philanthropist, humanitarian and shining example of female virtue, was honored this week by Britain’s GQ magazine when she was named “Woman of the Year.”
Accepting the award Tuesday, the shy and retiring brunette forgot to thank her 19 million Instagram followers, but breathlessly paid tribute to her devoted husband, Kanye West, for “making me feel like a woman of the year every day.”

Kim delights her fans in October 2013 by posting to Instagram a bootyful snap of her post-baby bod while flipping the bird to anyone who might question her impeccable beauty and grace. She tells Jay Leno: “I was trying on a bathing suit and I actually just sent that to my boyfriend and was like, ‘Babe, can I post this up? This is like my big middle finger to the world on everyone that called me fat.'”
In October 2013 — six months after settling her divorce with NBA player Kris Humphries, her husband of 72 days — the raven-haired beauty is driven onto the field of San Francisco’s AT&T Park to view a giant Jumbotron. Surprise! There, for all to see, is a touching message from rapper beau Kanye. “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!” Kim’s baby-daddy has finally proposed!
Kim and her fiancé discreetly display their mutual physical attraction in the video accompanying the rapper’s hit song “Bound 2.” The November 2013 film shows the mother-of-one grinding her bare breasts into the lucky fellow’s face while writhing around on his speeding motorcycle.
She might be engaged to someone else, but she still has a head for business! In February 2014, Kim is paid $500,000 to go on a date with Austrian billionaire Richard Lugner to the Vienna Opera Ball. The 81-year-old businessman appears to enjoy his arm candy, but later complains: “Kim is annoying me, because she’s not sticking to the program.”
Kim might prefer to dress her adorable daughter North in Armani Junior, but the March 2014 launch of her Kardashian Kids line for Babies R Us allows lesser mortals to pick up stylish duds like a leatherette flared skirt (with attached diaper cover!) for a bargain $19 a piece.
Kimye pull off a major coup by defrosting the attitude of Ice Queen editrix Anna Wintour and landing the cover of Vogue magazine in April 2014. Dubbed one half of the #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple, Kim tweets: “This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover! O M GGGGGG!!! I can’t even breath! (sic)”
In May 2014, Kim shows what a trouper she is by not allowing the little matter of a snub by Annie Leibovitz to get to her. The internationally acclaimed photographer may have pulled out of their low-key wedding in Florence, Italy, at the very last-minute, but Kim keeps smiling — even when Will Smith’s pesky kid, Jaden, upstages her in a white Batman costume.
The feminist icon wins the seal of approval from New York’s Finest in August 2014, when a random police officer is snapped ogling her magnificent behind (and boobs as they spill out of her customary low-cut top) while she leaves her Manhattan apartment.
