Mark Gilbertson — who has been throwing fund-raising parties for the Museum of the City of New York for 30 years — was honored for his efforts on Tuesday night, along with Tara Rockefeller and Allison Aston.
Without mentioning his age, Gilbertson told the crowd on the museum’s Fifth Avenue terrace, “Just tell them I was a sophisticated 12-year-old when I started.”
Guests included Matthew Mellon and Nicole Hanley, Marisa Noel and Matt Brown, Eric and Caroline Villency, Grace and Chris Meigher and Heather Mnuchin with a dark-haired young man named David Ford.
