The son of Daniel Day-Lewis and French actress Isabelle Adjani — the hyper-hyphenated Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis, 19 — stepped into the spotlight himself to play the Cutting Room this past week.
But only after a slight snafu.
“Gabe left his keyboard in a cab coming to the show,” a spy said. “He had to chase it down on Park Avenue South to retrieve it. He told the audience … his dad definitely got a laugh out of it.”
Proud Daniel was in the crowd with director-wife Rebecca Miller, designer Vera Wang and makeup artist Rose Marie Swift.
Last year, Gabriel-Kane, who goes by Gabe Day, released the rap tune “Green Auras.”
But he has moved on to “acoustic soul,” we hear, and is also signed to IMG Models.
