‘Hunger Games’ writer unveils new Fox series

When does he sleep? White-hot “Hunger Games” screenwriter Danny Strong unveiled his Fox series “Empire” with Lee Daniels for VIPs Monday night, then debuted a world premiere reading of his rock musical “Galileo” Tuesday afternoon.

Spies said the musical’s cast included Tony winner Lena Hall, Anthony Rapp and Bradley Dean, who performed for bigs including Daniels, Daryl Roth, John Goldwyn, Scott Sanders and Rob Ashford.

“The cast had the most amazing voices,” we’re told of the show with music by Michael Weiner and lyrics by Adam Abraham. “Everyone felt it was Broadway-bound.”

Terrence Howard, Jeremy Piven and others toasted “Empire” at the Crosby Street Hotel.
