The City Harvest Bid Against Hunger event brought out the well-fed and impressively paid Wednesday night at Pier 36 on the Lower East Side.
Iron Chefs Geoffrey Zakarian and Marc Forgione titillated big spenders with a multicourse meal for 12 at a bidder’s private home.
Two attendees plunked down $75,000 each for the VIP dinner.
Another guest paid $26,000 for a truffle dinner at their home prepared by Marea’s Michael White.
The trio of bids helped raise $1.4 million for the evening.
