Richards’ drug use scared Jagger’s kids straight

“Just Say No” has a new poster child: Keith Richards.

Just ask the children of Rolling Stones bandmate Mick Jagger, who can’t get no satisfaction from drugs and alcohol — because they watched as Richards spent most of their childhood plastered in their living room, according to Jagger’s ex-wife, Jerry Hall.

“They spent their life looking at Keith Richards passed out on the couch, you know,” Hall told The Times of London. “That could be it.”

Hall and Jagger have four children together — Elizabeth, 30, James, 29, Georgia, 22, and Gabriel, 16 — and none of them party like their pop’s pals.

“We were always into working hard,” said Hall. “My kids are very grounded, that’s never been an issue.”

Hall said she was the strict parent and that kids can’t always get what they want.

“We had to eat together, and they had to go to bed at a certain time and they had to get up to go to school,” she said.
