Beyoncé’s little sister, Solange Knowles, tied the knot at a ceremony in New Orleans on Sunday — and didn’t punch brother-in-law Jay Z even once.
The 28-year-old bride wore a cleavage-baring, cream-colored pantsuit while saying “I do” to 51-year-old music video director Alan Ferguson at the Marigny Opera House in the Crescent City, People magazine reported.
Six months after she famously unleashed a flurry of fists on the hip-hop impresario in a Meatpacking District hotel’s elevator, Solange looked as though all her troubles were behind her as she wed before a crowd of 200 friends and family, including Jay Z and Beyoncé.
“Beaming. Calm. They looked pretty calm, relaxed on their wedding day,” a source told People. “Definitely happy.”
Beyoncé held daughter Blue Ivy, 2, in her arms as she and Jay Z arrived for the event.
The pop diva wore a gleaming white frock — but the color choice was apparently no slight to the bride, because all the guests, male and female, were wearing white.
Solange and Ferguson, meanwhile, arrived for their big day on matching white-painted bicycles.
The groom has been a music video director for Katy Perry and helped direct the video for Beyoncé’s single “Party.”
