Jimmy Fallon shows off first photos of daughter Frances

After extending his unexpected paternity leave, Jimmy Fallon showed off photos of his newborn daughter, Frances Cole Fallon, on Monday’s episode of “The Tonight Show.”

The late-night host, 40, and wife Nancy Juvonen, 47, welcomed their bundle of joy last week via surrogate. Frances joins big sister Winnie Rose, now 17 months.

Also on Monday, Fallon resumed hosting duties. During his routine monologue, Fallon joked that he was “completely exhausted.”

“The show will now be called ‘Early Evenings Starring Jimmy Fallon.’ [It will start] around 8:30, until I pass out around 8:45,” he quipped.

Fallon went on to thank the unnamed surrogate, hospital staff and nurses, who ensured a smooth delivery. “I can’t say anything more because I don’t know what the rules are,” he said (via E! News). “But I just want to say there are angels in Dallas, Texas, so thank you so much.”

Guest Chris Rock eased Fallon’s jitters about having two kids. “Two kids are easier than one, because they want to play together,” joked Rock, whose two daughters are 12 and 10. “So when you have one, you have to be the show. When you’ve got two, you’re just an usher!”
