Does Solange owe California $55K?

The taxman gave Solange Knowles a wedding gift — the songstress, 28, was slapped with a $55,000 tax lien from the state of California.

Solange reportedly didn’t pay taxes in the state from 2010 to 2012, TMZ reports.

The website claims she was notified of the delinquent payments just three days after tying the knot with longtime boyfriend Alan Ferguson in New Orleans in mid-November.

But Solange, who appears to be unaware of the tax lien, responded to the news via Twitter on Sunday.

Financial problems seem to be plaguing the Knowles family. Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé and Solange’s estranged father, was spotted selling Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child memorabilia in mid-December outside his offices in Houston, Texas.

According to an interview with Houston’s Click 2, he denies being in need of money.
