Further fueling rumors of a secret engagement, Charlize Theron and Sean Penn looked “extremely happy” over lunch in LA on Sunday, witnesses said.
The couple was spotted at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, where Theron “was relaxed, laughing and looked radiant” as she dined on a sandwich and fries.
Theron — who was not wearing an engagement ring — and Penn were spotted later Sunday heading to the movies as he put a protective arm around her.
Us Weekly reported that Penn, 54, recently proposed to Theron, 39, in Paris, where he asked to “take their relationship to the next level.”
The magazine also quoted a source who said, “There’s no ring, but they are committed.”
