Steve Carell hasn’t let the heated competition of the Oscars go to his head.
We hear that the debut episode of the new season of David Steinberg’s “Inside Comedy” — which Carell executive produces for Showtime — has booked Michael Keaton as its guest, along with Dan Aykroyd.
Carrell and Keaton are up against each other in the Best Actor category at the Academy Awards on Feb. 22.
“David and Steve’s show is really about actors appreciating actors,” said a source of the series that returns in March for its fourth season. “It’s not about being competitive.”
Other guests include Stephen Colbert and Wanda Sykes.
