Heavyweight champ Wladimir Klitschko thinks the situation in Ukraine could potentially escalate into a “third world war.”

Vladimir Putin right now shows to the world a different way of doing politics,” the boxer, whose ex-fighter brother, Vitali, is the mayor of Kiev, told Page Six. “We need to react faster, sooner than later. We need to respect the rules globally . . . Otherwise, we’re going to be in a third world war.”

Klitschko — who will fight at MSG for the first time in seven years on April 25, when he takes on undefeated Bryant Jennings — added of the Russian conflict in his Ukrainian homeland: “It’s clearly war when other soldiers and military equipment are on the soil of your country, and your country is getting split and chopped apart through jubilant politicians.”

The pugilist, who’s training in Florida, is the proud dad of 3-month-old Kaya, whose mom is Klitschko’s fiancée, “Nashville” star Hayden Panettiere.

“I cut nails, change diapers, do the bath with her,” said the champ, joking, “Pretty much playing mother and father at same time.”
