This is one match Patti Stanger did not sanction.
The “Millionaire Matchmaker” says she witnessed Mario Singer meet the young socialite who would spark the demise of his marriage to Ramona Singer.
“I was there that night he cheated,” Stanger said on Thursday night’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”
Stanger, 53, says she and Jill Zarin, Ramona’s former co-star on “The Real Housewives of New York City,” were at a 2013 party in the Hamptons when she “saw the whole thing go down.”
“I saw him pick the girl … And I went, ‘What is going on here?'” Stanger told host Andy Cohen. “And then I was worried for Ramona. I was really worried for her … He had, like, a midlife crisis going on and she doesn’t deserve that. She’s a great girl.”
Mario and his mistress, Kasey Dexter, met at hedge-funder Marc Leder’s estate, Page Six previously reported.
Last August, Ramona, 58, publicly announced her split from Mario after more than two decades of marriage.
“I have decided to move on with my life without Mario. I tried my best to make my marriage work,” she wrote on Facebook at the time.
They have a 20-year-old daughter named Avery.
