‘Housewife’ Kim Richards arrested after ‘drunken rampage’

An “unruly” Kim Richards was arrested early Thursday following an alleged alcohol-fueled rampage at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, whose sobriety has been a hot-button issue on the Bravo series, was asked to leave the hotel’s swanky Polo Lounge for being too intoxicated and acting “unruly,” according to TMZ.

Richards, who apparently “reeked” of alcohol, reportedly was belligerent and slurring her speech.

Cops allegedly had to “drag her out” of the restroom when she refused to leave it.

Richards, 50, then kicked a police officer once she arrived at a nearby jail, and was charged with trespass, resisting arrest, battery on a police officer and being drunk in public, the website reports.

She was issued a citation and released.

She has previously spent time in rehab for substance abuse and has repeatedly denied on this season of the show that she has relapsed.

In a February blog post, she said she made a “mistake” when she took her ex-husband’s painkiller to relieve chronic pain from injuries — an issue dissected on the series — but “I am still sober and strong mentally and physically.” “However, that one situation did not give anyone the right to spread the rumor that I had relapsed and been drinking,” she said.

“[The ‘Housewives’ castmates’] constant chatter about me honestly feels like they’re belittling all the hard work I’ve put into my recovery for the past three years,” she wrote.

Despite trading barbs with Richards on the show, fellow “Housewives” star Eileen Davidson wished her well via Twitter on Thursday: “I feel badly for Kim Richards and her family my thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.”

A rep for Richards did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A rep for Bravo declined to comment.
