With the series finale of “Mad Men” fast approaching, Christina Hendricks still hasn’t brought herself to “say goodbye” to her character, Joan.
“I don’t think I’ve said goodbye,” she muses in LA Confidential of the May 17 finale. “As I watch the last episode, maybe that will happen. It’s a very weird sensation. I just always have taken it for granted. Like, I still get to go back in six months and play her again. But not this time.”
She says of her next big move after the series: “[I’ll] sort of know it when I see it.”
