Jared Padalecki is stepping away from the spotlight to handle some personal issues.

The “Supernatural” actor, 32, suddenly canceled appearances at conventions in both Italy and Australia over the weekend.

On May 15, he tweeted messages possibly signifying trouble in his private life.

“Dear #JIBCON and #AHBL6. I am in desperate and urgent need of my family,” he wrote on social media. “I am sorry to tell you this but I must head home.”

He continued in a separate tweet, “I need all the love I can get right now. Please please give me a few seconds of your time and write me. #AlwaysKeepFighting.”

His team tells Page Six Padalecki has spent a “long season away from his family.”

His team also released a statement saying, “Jared wanted everyone to know he loves meeting his fans around the world and was very upset at having to cancel his trips to Rome and Australia. Jared has pushed himself to his limits, and is suffering from exhaustion. His SPN family is so important to him, and he asks that they Always Keep Fighting. At this time he needs to be home with his family. He’s doing better already and is excited about shooting ‘Supernatural’ season 11 in July. For now he’s taking a break, but is so appreciative of, and sees and feels the love and support of his fans.”

In March, Padalecki launched his “Always Keep Fighting” campaign, which benefits To Write Love on Her Arms — an organization helps individuals struggling with depression, addiction and suicide.

At the time, he told Variety of his own troubled past.

“… And I, in the past, have had my own struggles of not [being] so happy with where I am in life, which is strange and I think it goes to show,” the seasoned actor said. “Maybe a lot of people don’t know this, but season 3, we were shooting an episode, and I went back to my trailer to get changed and just kind of broke down.”

In light of Padalecki’s cancellation, his co-star Jensen Ackles tweeted a caring response, telling him to “get some rest, my brother. I got ur back… Always.”
