Bristol Palin blasts Miley Cyrus over religious tolerance

Another week, another celebrity for Bristol Palin to beef with.

Just a week after she made it clear she sees no difference between Lena Dunham and Josh Duggar, the 24-year-old has gone after Miley Cyrus in a new blog post for Patheos – a website that bills itself as “Hosting the Conversation on Faith.”

“While her nude photo shoot [for Paper Magazine] has attracted the attention of many, it is her hilarious tirade about tolerance that turned my head,” the eldest daughter of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin informed her readers.

In the interview that accompanied the pop star’s latest nude photos, Cyrus, who refers to as herself the least judgmental person ever, called out conservative lawmakers — “Those people [shouldn’t] get to make our laws” — and referred to her religious parents Billy Ray and Tish, who she stresses she loves, as “conservative-ass motherf—–s.”

To Palin these comments were more than a little rich.

“Is it just me or does it seem more than a little fake that someone claiming to be accepting of everyone and everything would spew such judgment towards her own parents and their deeply held religious beliefs?” Palin wrote.

The comments didn’t particularly surprise the mother of one, either, instead acting as just another example of the hypocrisy she views as running rampant in Hollywood.

“Oh, Miley. Thanks for giving us the best example of what ‘tolerance’ looks like in Hollywood: it looks a lot like contempt,” she concluded.

Just like Dunham before her, Cyrus has yet to acknowledge that she’s even aware that Palin’s blog exists.
