French beauty Marion Cotillard threw herself so deeply into her latest role in “Macbeth,” with Michael Fassbender, she began having panic attacks while filming.
Describing the shoot as “tough,” “gloom” and “total darkness,” she says in Porter’s winter issue out Friday, “I never had panic attacks before. What was funny is I didn’t know what a panic attack was, but I had studied it for [a] role I did before … I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ … I just had to accept I would freak out the whole shoot long.”
