Take that, Giuliana! Zendaya’s Oscar look gets Barbie treatment

Seven months after Giuliana Rancic dissed her Oscar look, Zendaya is laughing all the way to the bank.

Mattel has created a one-of-a-kind Barbie doll bearing the 19-year-old’s likeness — including her off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood gown, dreadlocks and pearl drop earrings from Hollywood’s biggest night.

“When I was little I couldn’t find a Barbie that looked like me, my… how times have changed,” Zendaya said in a photo split next to her doll. “Thank you @Barbie for this honor and for allowing me to be [part] of your diversification and expansion of the definition of beauty. Can’t wait to keep doing amazing things with you…”

The doll isn’t available for purchase.

As followers of the drama know, Rancic caught serious flak after saying on “Fashion Police” that Zendaya’s lengthy locks made her look “like she smells like patchouli oil” or “weed.”

Zendaya slammed Rancic for her comments. The fallout continued, despite two apologies from Rancic. Co-host Kelly Osbourne quit the show over the drama as well.

Kathy Griffin, who joined the show at the start of 2015 and who later quit the show too, said she would never have cracked the joke.

The doll company welcomed Zendaya into the Barbie family, saying, “We are so excited to honor @Zendaya with this one-of-a-kind doll as she encourages girls to Raise Their Voices and inspire us to #BeSuper.”

After hearing the news of Zendaya’s Barbie, fellow pop star Nicki Minaj took to Instagram to remind everyone she was Barbie-fied in the past. “Talk about ride off another girl’s moment,” commented one critical fan. Another simply said, “Shame on you!”

The rapper later posted a photo split with Zendaya’s doll saying the pair “…Should have matching bff Barbie cars with the dream house to match.”
