Amy Schumer delivered an impromptu 15-minute warm-up set at Stand Up NY Thursday, two nights ahead of hosting “SNL.”
She surprised patrons by dropping in and bringing down the house. Witnesses said a dressed-down Schumer, wearing a gray sweatshirt and jeans, came in with Chris Rock, “who watched and didn’t perform. Amy said she wanted practice for her ‘SNL’ monologue.”
Rock directed Schumer’s HBO special, “Live at the Apollo,” which debuts Oct. 17.
