Dr. Brandt’s Miami home sells for $2.9M

The Miami home of Fredric Brandt has sold for $2.9 million — nearly nine months after the celebrity dermatologist took his own life there by hanging himself in the garage at 65.

Dubbed the Baron of Botox, Brandt’s clients included Madonna, Calvin Klein and Naomi Campbell. Reports said his Coconut Grove townhouse was sold to Juan Carlos and Maria F. Boyadjian of Argentina.

The house, at 3521 Bayshore Villas Drive, went for $450,000 below the asking price of $3.35 million after going on the market in September. The four-bedroom, 4 ¹/₂-bathroom, 5,015-square-foot home is in a gated community.

Brandt paid just $712,800 in 1990 for the house, which contained his high-end art collection and has an elevator and heated pool.

At the time of his death in April, the doc’s rep said he was suffering from depression, and had been “deeply hurt” by an apparent spoof of him by Martin Short on Tina Fey’s show, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.” Short’s character was called “Dr. Sidney Grant,” pretentiously pronounced “Franff.”
