David Letterman is now a dead ringer for Santa Claus

Ho, ho, ho!

David Letterman could easily win a Santa Claus look-alike contest.

The comedian, who retired from late-night TV in May after 33 years on the air, seems to have tossed out his razors and shaving supplies in the last several months.

Letterman, 68, delivered a speech at his alma mater, Ball State University, on Monday night — and all eyes were on his lengthy scruff.

It has certainly grown a few inches since he was spotted with his 11-year-old son, Harry, back in September.

Then he looked like a guy who’s thoroughly enjoying retirement. But now he’s on the verge of being added to the next season of “Duck Dynasty.”

If he keeps this up, he’ll be called upon to play Moses in an Easter play next spring.
