NBC’S “Today” show threw its annual holiday party at Tao Uptown on Thursday — where staffers blew off steam with hosts Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Natalie Morales, Al Roker, Carson Daly, Willie Geist and Tamron Hall all the way till early . . . afternoon.
The time didn’t stop some of the early risers who work on the program from drinking custom vodka cocktails with names like “Potion With a Purpose,” a play on the show’s popular “Puppy With a Purpose” segment.
“Today” heads Noah Oppenheim and Don Nash unveiled a “director’s cut” of lighthearted highlights from the show for 2015.
Since the staff all craved a good night’s sleep, each took home a gift of flannel pajamas.
