John Stamos opened up Monday about his shameful feelings after his arrest on DUI charges last summer.
“I had a horrific DUI, which I’m so embarrassed by. I could’ve hurt somebody. It’s really stupid and ignorant of me, and I hated myself for that,” he revealed on Howard Stern’s radio show.
He said the DUI and losing his mom sent him into rehab. “I had to stop this up and down . . . I was on some medications, antidepressants and that damn Ambien. I’m so happy to be off of that . . . My memory was starting to get really [bleeped] up . . . That was the hardest thing to kick, by the way.”
Later Monday, Stamos revealed on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” about his reboot series “Fuller House,” that when Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen wouldn’t participate, “I said, ‘Call the sister [Elizabeth Olsen],’ and we talked to her agent, and the agent was like, ‘Pssh, come on, she’s not going to do that!’ ”
