Christopher Guest shook up the guest list for “Mascots,” his mockumentary about the world of competitive mascots due on Netflix later this year.
While Parker Posey, Jennifer Coolidge, Jane Lynch and several other regulars from Guest’s “Best in Show,” “Waiting for Guffman,” and “A Mighty Wind” are in “Mascots,” old favorites Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy aren’t.
The pair are busy co-starring in the Canadian TV series “Schitt’s Creek,” which airs on the Pop network.
“I feel like we’ve been kicked out of the family,” O’Hara told local scribe Shinan Govani at the Shangri-La in Toronto.
