Zayn Malik likes curvy women, not the new One Direction album

Step aside, rail-thin ladies. Zayn Malik likes his women on the curvy side.

The former One Direction bad boy described his ideal woman to Billboard magazine.

“I need a challenge,” the 22-year-old said. “Also, I like girls that are a bit chunky in certain areas — the nice areas. I like a fuller woman. I enjoy an intellectual conversation as well, where someone can construct a sentence beyond what hair and makeup they’re wearing, and talk about something political or about the world. I like an opinion.”

Those desired traits happen to fully sum up his current girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, who is quick to slam body shamers and voice her pride in her Palestinian heritage.

The pair were spotted apartment shopping in downtown New York earlier this week. If they do shack up together, it’ll give Malik plenty of room to heat up the kitchen. “I have about six of [my mother’s] signature dishes down, and I’ll pull them out for the ladies when I need to,” he told the music magazine.

While it appears he’s building a future with Hadid, he’s distancing himself from his past with a new sound.

And he made it painfully clear he’s not supporting his former friends in One Direction.

“I’ll be honest. I thought the first single was was quite cool,” he said of the group’s latest album “Made in the A.M.” “I heard the second single and,” he said, twisting his face, “Yeah, I didn’t buy the album.”
