Thanks to a quick-fingered censor at NBC, viewers were unable to hear what host Ricky Gervais asked Mel Gibson during the awards show, but now, thanks to the Internet, we know.
“What the f–k does sugar t—s even mean?” Gervais can be heard saying on an uncensored Vine of the moment.
The question, a reference to the anti-Semitic rant Gibson went on after he was arrested for drunk driving in 2006, followed minutes of uncomfortable ribbing in which the actor said run-ins with Gervais remind him it’s time for a colonoscopy.
