Kim Mathers is lamenting the loss of her twin sister, Dawn Scott, after a suspected drug overdose in Michigan on Tuesday.
A mourner claiming to be the ex-wife of rapper Eminem shared memories of her late sister in an online condolence book earlier this week.
“Dawn was my sweet, beautiful sister who lost her way,” she wrote. “I kept a light lit for her hoping she’d find her way back to me. I miss her and love her more than anything I could ever say. I wish she was here so I could hug her and tell her I love her.”
According to earlier reports, Scott reached out to her 41-year-old sister for financial support, but was repeatedly denied.
“Half of me is gone and I will never feel whole again,” she continued. “She made me laugh and kept me on my toes. She was the best sister and friend in the world and I will miss her until we are together again.”
Funeral services for Scott will be held Saturday morning in Macomb, Michigan.
