‘Bachelor’ star Catherine Lowe scared to become a mom

With their July due date rapidly approaching, “Bachelor” couple Sean and Catherine Lowe are realizing just how terrifying becoming a parent can be.

“The whole thing scares me,” Catherine, 29, told Page Six at the pair’s “Loads of Love” baby shower, hosted by Dreft. “I mean … birthing … and then I have to nurse, so that’s frightening too.”

She’s also worried about managing a baby alongside two businesses, telling us that she wants to make sure she’s balancing business life with family life.

However, Sean, 32, is a little more relaxed about becoming a father.

“I’m not nervous or fearful about anything,” he said. “I’m really excited, but I know whatever the baby throws at us, we will be able to figure it out and we’ll handle it OK.”

The couple — who met on the 17th season “The Bachelor” and wed in 2014 — told us they decided not to learn the sex of the baby and have names for both genders pretty much figured out.

“I’ve tried to prep myself for the good of what a girl would bring,” Catherine said,  “But I think we’re just more boy parents to be honest.”

If they do end up with a baby girl, Catherine revealed she wouldn’t care if one day she ended up on “The Bachelor” herself.

“I did OK on it,” she joked.

Sean and Catherine will be documenting their parenting journey on Dreft’s social media channels for the next year.

“Bachelorette” alum Desiree Hartstock and Chris Siegfried are also expecting a baby, they revealed on Wednesday.
