A lawsuit can’t be good for Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas’ already strained marriage.
After a district attorney dismissed a criminal case involving Thomas and a man named Brandon Link, who claims he was assaulted by the reality star, Link is suing the couple for $225,000 in damages, according to TMZ.
Link alleges he suffered a concussion after Thomas assaulted him at Sports One in January. Sports One, located in Charlotte, is owned by Thomas.
In this suit, Link says the security video was altered and that Thomas said he was “working on some p—y” during the altercation. He also says Thomas yelled, “Do you think I give a f–k about your money!”
In March, Bailey, 48, revealed the couple’s marriage is on the rocks. “Peter and I are not in a great place right now,” she said. “Honestly, I don’t know what’s going on to happen with us right now, we’re still trying to figure it out.”
A request for comment from Bailey’s rep wasn’t immediately returned.
