Sinéad O’Connor posts unhinged rant directed at family

Sinéad O’Connor may be safe, but that doesn’t mean she is well.

A day after the “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer, 44, was located by authorities in Wilmette, Ill.she posted an unhinged Facebook rant directed at her ex-husband and family.

“Every one of you had better pray I die,” she wrote in the post. “Because I’m suing the f—–g lot of you for what you’ve done to me if I manage to live through it.”

On Monday, it came out that O’Connor had been reported missing after failing to return from a bike ride the previous day and was believed to be suicidal. By the afternoon, she had been located safe and sound. But the expletive-filled tirade – which specifically calls out her first husband, Reynolds, and one of the couple’s sons, among other family members — suggests that she is still in dire need of help.

“I will see you all in court,” she continues. “I want damages. I have been unable to work. I have lost last year’s income and this year’s. I have had enormous medical expenses, and enormous trauma because of your torturing of me. As I said. You f—–g best pray God kills me because unlike my poor mother, I will not let this drop.”

In November, the singer revealed that she had “taken an overdose” in a disturbing message posted to her official Facebook account.

That was not her first suicide attempt. In 2007, she told Oprah Winfrey that she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and tried to kill herself on her 33rd birthday.
