Emma Roberts and Dave Franco star in the new movie “Nerve,” about an online game of ever-more outrageous dares.
But its stars set a fairly low bar for scurrilous antics in real life.
“My girlfriends and I all got tattoos . . . so that was a bit of a dare,” Roberts said at the film’s premiere at SVA Theatre. “We all got half-moons on our sides.”
Franco added, “I sang in public. I went into the Apple Store and belted out Backstreet Boys’ ‘I Want It That Way,’ which was horrifying, but I want this movie to work.”
