Melora Hardin will play a character inspired by Cosmopolitan Editor-in-Chief Joanna Coles on “Issues,” an upcoming series for ABC cable channel Freeform.
Hardin, a former star of “The Office,” will play Jacqueline, the Coles-like editor of Cosmo-like Scarlet Magazine, who “can intimidate without saying a word,” but “has a strong nurturing side.”
The scripted series follows three female Scarlet staffers.
Coles is also an executive producer on the show, which is shooting in Toronto.
