Shannen Doherty’s ex-manager: Depose her again

Shannen Doherty won’t stop living her life because she’s battling breast cancer — and her ex-manager thinks that’s grounds for her to be deposed for a second time.

Doherty, 45, sued Steven Blatt for mismanaging her insurance premiums and allowing her health insurance to lapse last year, claiming she couldn’t go to the doctor until she had insurance. That allegedly led to a delay in her breast cancer diagnosis, which ended up spreading during her lapse.

Blatt’s team already deposed Doherty for seven hours, which is the standard time in California, but are requesting an extension, TMZ reports. Blatt and his lawyers claim that because Doherty has been doing press and traveling she’s healthy enough for another deposition, which would likely be four hours long.

Doherty’s team refuted Blatt’s claims that she’s not sick, saying her original seven hour deposition was more than enough.

In an emotional interview earlier this month, Doherty revealed that she thinks she has five years to live.

“I told him [husband Kurt Iswarienko], ‘You need to enjoy every single second you have with me because I’m going to be dead in five years,’ and he just burst into tears,” she told “Entertainment Tonight.”

A representative for Doherty didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
