Eli and Peyton Manning raise money for 9/11 families

Celebrities and sports stars including Peyton and Eli Manning filled up the trading floor at Cantor Fitzgerald and its affiliate BGC Partners for the firms’ annual 9/11 charity day.

Cantor lost 658 employees in its North Tower offices in the Sept. 11 attacks. Each year the company donates a day of its global revenues to charity and the families of those killed on 9/11; it’s donated over $180 million to date.

The Manning brothers were joined by Dwight Gooden (who avoided his former pal and now frenemy Darryl Strawberry), CBS’s “Blue Bloods” star Bridget Moynahan, model Lily Aldridge, Britain’s Princess Beatrice and her mother, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.

The stars all took to the phones to chat with Cantor Fitzgerald clients, and were guided by the traders to make trades. Donald Trump even made a surprise appearance, but uncharacteristically declined to talk to media.
