Sasha Farber’s latest performance ended in a proposal.
On Tuesday, the Russian-born dancer popped the question to fellow “Dancing with the Stars” pro Emma Slater following a routine to Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are.” But before Farber, 33, got down on one knee, host Tom Bergeron hinted at a surprise for 27-year-old Slater.
“First of all, you guys have great chemistry,” he said. “And Sasha, I’ve always thought you had the potential to actually host so I’m going to give the show over to you.”
Following the fairy tale proposal, both Farber and Slater recounted the magical moment on social media.
“I will never forget this moment, the best day of my life. I’m engaged to @sashafarber,” Slater wrote on Instagram.
“She said yessssssssss 💍💍💍 one moment in my life I will cherish for ever,” Farber shared.
Farber and Slater have been dating for five years.
