Lindsay Lohan will supply refugees with energy drinks

Lindsay Lohan’s recent humanitarian visit to Syrian refugee camps in Turkey bizarrely ties in to her new nightclub — named Lohan — in Athens, Greece.

Page Six has learned that Lohan and her team plan to offer an energy drink to refugees.

According to an insider, Lohan has partnered with a German energy drink, Mintanine. The beverage, which is available at Lohan’s eponymous Greek nightclub, will also be supplied at the refugee camps.

“There’s hardly food, water or anything” else at the camp, explained a source close to LiLo, “so at this point sending anything is helpful.” We guess so?

“This is all part of Lindsay’s mission to help refugees,” the source explained.

Mintanine is described on its website as a “blue caffeine lemonade” and “lifestyle drink” with the tag line: “Blue tastes woohoo :-).” It recently sponsored a Playboy club tour in Frankfurt, Germany.

As for any health benefits for the thirsty refugees, “We do not use synthetic flavors or caffeine, no taurin, no aspartam, no inosit, but natural guarana,” says the site.

Lohan and her Greek club partner Dennis Papageorgiou — whom the source close to Lohan says the star isn’t dating despite pictures of them kissing at another nightclub — are planning to expand their venture. We’re told there are investors interested in another Lohan club location in London, and LiLo and her squad are looking for partners in Hong Kong.
