Hillary reacts to Katy Perry’s costume: ‘She could be me’

When it comes to Katy Perry‘s Halloween costume, Hillary Clinton is with her.

Perry, 32, donned prosthetics, a blond wig and one of the Democratic presidential hopeful’s signature pantsuits for Kate Hudson‘s Halloween party on Friday night.

“Oh my, look at that!” Clinton gushed to Extra on Monday when host Tracey Edmonds showed her a photo of the “Firework” singer.

Perry has been a longstanding Clinton supporter, performing at fundraisers and at the Democratic National Convention in July, as well as campaigning for her at colleges.

“This is shocking — oh, my gosh,” Clinton, 69, stammered. “This is great! She could be me when we finish the campaign.”

Estranged couple Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck agree on at least one thing: They like Clinton. The couple told Cosmopolitan that they invited daughter Violet to hear Clinton speak, and Affleck added, "I am excited about Hillary Clinton, among other reasons, because having two little girls, I recognize — and I wouldn't have known this before, I really probably would have been more cavalier about it — having two little girls, I recognize how powerful it would be for them to see a woman be the president of the United States."

Pharrell told Ellen DeGeneres he endorses Clinton. "It’s time for a woman to be in there," he said. "Women think about things in a holistic way, it’s not so individual. I’m saying I’m happy to be a man, but I love women. The thing is, if we had somebody looking after our country that thought about things as a whole, I just feel like it just would be different. Not that I don’t love our current president, I just feel like it’s Hillary time."

There are going to be no surprises, and she has earned the right to be president and the head of the country at this point. It's that simple. And she’s a woman, which is very important because her take on things may be what we need right now.”
