Brad Pitt to walk first red carpet since Angelina Jolie split

Brad Pitt will walk the red carpet at the premiere of his World War II movie “Allied” during his divorce battle with Angelina Jolie, sources tell Page Six, despite reports he’s pulled out of all press for the film.

Reports have said Pitt is passing on all press for the film as a bitter custody battle with Jolie over their six kids has heated up.

There have also been rumors of romance between Pitt and his co-star Marion Cotillard, which the stars have denied. She also revealed that she’s pregnant with her second child, with longtime partner Guillaume Canet.

Although reports this week said he’s pulled out of promotional commitments for the film, including junkets and talk shows, sources told Page Six he is planning to be at the movie’s premiere in Westwood, Calif., on Wednesday, and studio Paramount confirmed he’ll be attending.

“He is maintaining multiple commitments for the film,” said a source. “He doesn’t usually do much press anyway” for projects.

The movie opens over Thanksgiving weekend.

While Pitt quietly filed for joint custody of their kids late on Friday, reports said
Monday that Jolie’s gearing up for a major battle — and a source close to the actress reportedly told TMZ that “until he gets his s - - t together,” Jolie wants Pitt to have “monitored visitation.” Jolie slapped Pitt with the bombshell divorce in September following an alleged incident between Pitt and the couple’s eldest son, Maddox, 15, on a private jet.

Pitt’s court papers filed late Friday — a time when celebs traditionally try to bury news — were the first filed in the divorce. He has strongly denied any allegations involving abuse of his and Jolie’s kids. An entertainment source said of Pitt that despite all the drama, “he is trying to get as little attention as possible — he wants to resolve this situation — he is not fighting anything, he is simply asserting his rights to his kids.”

Reps for Pitt and Jolie didn’t comment.
