Donald Trump had better not cross Jane Lynch

Jane Lynch says that she’s willing to give President-elect Donald Trump a chance. But she’s ready for a fight if he wants one.

“There’s so much that’s unknown,” the LGBTQ activist, singer and actress told Page Six. “He’s our president now, I support him and I wish him the very best. But if we start feeling our rights being taken away — not just the LGBTQ community, but all sort of communities: racial communities and religious communities — we will stand up against it.”

“We’re a strong country,” added Lynch, “I have great faith. I was very sad, and now I’m in a place of hope.”

Those looking for something to cheer them up might consider Lynch’s new Christmas album, “A Swingin’ Little Christmas.”

“It’s really 1950s, 1960s — that kind of music. It gets a little jazzy at times. It’s a real feel-good album; really lush orchestration,” she told us of the set, which features Kate Flannery and Tim Davis and is now available on iTunes.

The trio will be performing on HSN Monday night.
