Marion Cotillard didn’t take Brad Pitt affair allegations personally

Marion Cotillard doesn’t pay any mind to reports she had an affair with Brad Pitt on the set of “Allied.”

“I never take anything personally when it doesn’t concern me,” Cotillard, 41, told “Today” host Matt Lauer on Thursday. “So I didn’t take it personally because I had nothing to do with these rumors or situations. I don’t give energy to this, and it was a wonderful experience working with such a [visionary] director and an amazing actor, so that’s all that matters.”
The French Oscar winner previously denied reports of a fling with Pitt, 52, in September and announced she was expecting a child with longtime partner Guillaume Canet.

“This crafted conversation isn’t distressing,” Cotillard wrote on Instagram at the time. “And to all the media and the haters who are quick to pass judgment, I sincerely wish you a swift recovery. Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment.”
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September, citing irreconcilable differences. A source told Page Six at the time that Jolie, 41, hired a private investigator, who claimed that Pitt and Cotillard were hooking up on the set of the Robert Zemeckis-directed film.
The estranged couple are currently in a custody battle over their six children.
