Jeffrey Dean Morgan gets lots of ‘sexual propositions’

“Walking Dead” actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan is not used to his newfound fame.

“The fans are so passionate. I think I’ve only been on maybe four episodes so far … and I need to look in my rearview mirror when I go home at night from work because people will follow me home,” the 50-year-old actor said at a BUILD Series talk on Wednesday.

Morgan joined the hit show at the very end of Season 6 earlier this year playing the infamous super-villain Negan. His character is known for bashing in people’s heads with a baseball bat covered in barbed wire, which he’s named Lucille.

“I get weird mail,” he admitted, “I get lots of weird propositions, sexual propositions with like ball gags involved, and maybe Lucille … There’s some weird stuff out there that I’ve never heard before.”

Morgan — who’s also had roles in shows like “The Good Wife” and “Grey’s Anatomy” — also revealed he’s had to beef up security since joining the show.

“I miscalculated this show in particular and maybe this character, how popular he is,” he said.
